There has been a lot of talk lately about “PB’s” (personal bests for those not in the know). With that chatter, a lot of the conversations we overhear are spent talking about times ie being faster, which in itself is a good goal, but it may not be the same goal for everyone.
Your personal best could be just making it out the door one day. It could be achieving two runs a week. It could be running non-stop for an hour. It could be running non-stop for 2km. It could be completing your first marathon. It could be a sub 50 minute 10k. It could be MANY things. The thing is, it will be different for everyone and it’s important to remember that when we’re all out there running together.
For the month of April, we want you to pledge what your personal goal is going to be. You know the RunPals will help support you, encourage you, enthuse you as much as they can. We’ve got some great blog content (and maybe our first podcast……) We will also be providing some tips every week for you to help focus on to achieve your personal goal.
Remember, it won’t happen overnight. You will need to work for it. Put the effort in, you will reap the rewards.
So, follow through to the form, enter your name and your goal. We’ll then (figure out how to) keep your entry open, so you can add your achievement when you hopefully smash it!
What do we want to see? Lots of love sharing. Lots of support. Lots of RunPals being RunPals!
Finally… this is YOUR goal. Ignore what anyone else is doing, or planning. This is about you. This is about challenging yourself. So make it personal. Make it count. Get out there and get it done.
